How does the environment we are surrounded impact our brain?

In the Schneeberger Lab we are interested in understanding how does the nutritional environment of western societies (rich in carbohydrates and fats) plastically adapt the different circuits (neurovascular, neuroimmune, neuronal) which co-exist in the neurovascular unit.
